Our new centre for eye care, research, and education is getting taller by the day! Bouygues UK, our construction partner, has recently started building the seventh floor.
By the end of this year, all 10 levels will be built. Once the superstructure is complete, work will start on inside the centre.
You can view the inside of the new centre in these animations that ‘fly you through’ different parts of the building.
The first animation shows a patient journey to an outpatients department (outpatients services will be located on four floors of the centre). The second animation showcases areas that staff and students will use.
The animations have audio and subtitles so they’re accessible for everyone. Please ensure the subtitles/closed captions feature is turned off as it will conflict with the subtitles included in the animations.
