The Museum of London Archaeology (MOLA) has published its latest blog about the archaeological dig carried out on the Oriel site over the past seven months.

The blog explains how 3D models are used to show archaeology findings up close.

3D models use accurate location points and detailed photography so the 3D software can find enough of the same points to put all the pictures together.

Using your computer mouse you can zoom into artefacts to see an amazing level of detail.

The archaeological dig has now finished onsite; work continues offsite to further analyse the findings.
